Book bits: To Lose the Earth cover art and Kirk Fu update

A couple of books updates today, starting with some potential new cover art!

Doug Drexler recently posted this beautiful bit of Voyager art on his ArtStation portfolio. He notes it simply as being for Pocket Books, but the file is named "Losing Earth"; could this be the cover for Kirsten Beyer's much anticipated next Voyager novel, To Lose the Earth? Let's hope so, we know that book it still in works, but it hasn't been scheduled yet (Beyer's minor distractions of now being a writer on Discovery and the new Picard series have pushed her book releases back a little!).

The Nova-ish ship is pretty cool, I assume that's the USS Galen, seen for the first time I think.

Meanwhile listings for Dayton Ward's forthcoming book, the Kirk Fu Manual suggest a significant delay from Insight Editions, who are now expecting to publish in March 2020, a full year later than the previously announced date! Thanks to the book's artist, Christian Cornia (via Instagram), we can at least get another glimpse of what to expect when it does eventually arrive:
